Who wants the ML’s skin? This is the question we are asking ourselves following the recent events which are shaking what remains of the Lepep alliance.
Initially there were the president’s trips. The MSM ministers did not look favorably on Ameena Gurib Fakim’s frequent trips abroad.
Then there was the transfer of the secretary of the presidency.
The Sobrino affair has been added to the already multiple problems.
Then the final blow came from a minister from the MSM camp, Husnoo, who precipitated the departure of Vijaya Sumputh from the cardiac center.
Vijaya Sumputh’s response was equally scathing – “It was the cabinet that approved my contract.” A way to put the ball back in the MSM court.
