During his intervention on the Budget presented by his son to Parliament Anerood Jugnauth, the father of the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, showed his usual anger towards anything that is disturbing for the Jugnauth family. The BAI affair and its ill-advised dismantling is one of those subjects that puts Minister Mentor beside himself every time it is mentioned. Not because the critics of this government action are wrong or that the victims do not suffer injustice, but rather because of the irritation it causes him. It is the irritation of those who have a guilty conscience. We understand that Jugnauth does not want to accept his responsibility and that he still had the time and the reflex to withdraw all his money followed by the other members of the family, of the Bramer Bank which was going to be closed by the lackeys who will easily recognize themselves, but from there to say that “I do not care for the death of such people” by referring to the striking victims of the SBCG and the ex Bramer it is to show a total absence of humanism. We would have the right to hope for better from a man of this age who is supposed to act as a guide to others. But we know the Mentor. He’s always been like that. It will never change. We might as well think about changing the Government itself. We would have the right to hope for better from a man of this age who is supposed to act as a guide to others. But we know the Mentor. This does not prevent us from pointing out to other members of the MSM as well as to Pravind Jugnauth, the leader of this Party, that the people are not slaves. The time will come when they will all go begging for votes and while they are not surprised at that moment to see posters plastered on all the walls reminding them of their present actions, especially the hurtful and inhumane remarks of Minister Mentor, Anerood Jugnauth!
